Here are all of my expenses for the last month! Even though houses in my neighborhood didn’t flood during Hurricane Harvey in 2017, I expected my insurance premiums to skyrocket. They didn’t though! My flood insurance didn’t change from 2017 to 2018. In 2019, it only increased by $29! In 2019, my windstorm insurance only increased by $4, but my homeowner’s insurance increased by $42.
I ran out of beer in August, and I haven’t been buying any since it hasn’t been the right price. I’ve been drinking wine instead, and I do prefer wine. Grocery stores normally offer a 10% discount when buying 6 bottles of wine. A few times a year, one of my grocery stores offers 20% off when buying 12 bottles. I’ve taken the 20% deal a few times. This month, I bought 1.5-liter bottles for the cheapest price ever… $7.18 each! I was pretty excited. I also ended up buying beer even though it was $1 more than my normal price, and it was only $0.03 more per beer. Those are all of my notes for this month.
