Happy new year! I’m excited to share the year-end results! In addition to the usual detailed breakdown, I have included an annual summary by category. I’m getting really excited about being four years away from paying off my mortgage and saving $8,950 per year! I’ve already reduced my alcohol consumption so my 2023 spending should be much lower than 2022. If you tracked your expenses, how do yours compare to mine?
I had free meals at three different restaurants, and the money I spent was just for tips. I had my vehicle’s annual oil change, and the discount wasn’t as good as normal. I bought an elbow support to use during exercise, and I’ll get another one next month when I have another free gift card. My bulk spending included two loaves of bread, six cans of soup, four cans of vegetables, and four bottles of wine.
